Getting around shouldn’t be a barrier to living independently. At MK Support Group, we provide NDIS travel assistance and transport support to help you access the places that matter most, whether that’s work, school, appointments, shopping, social activities, or community events.
Our service ensure you have safe, comfortable, and accessible transport tailored to your needs, so you can stay connected with your community and enjoy greater independence.
WHAT WE OFFER
How We Can Support You
Our support workers can help with:
- Transport to medical appointments, therapies, or day programs
- Travel to work, school, or training
- Getting to social, cultural, or recreational activities
- Help with shopping trips, errands, and community access
- Support with learning to use public transport (bus, train, tram, ferry, etc.)
- Assistance with planning safe travel routes and building confidence to travel independently
We understand that everyone’s needs are different. That’s why we offer:
- Travel with a support worker – we can accompany you and provide assistance throughout your journey.
- Accessible vehicles – safe, reliable, and disability-friendly transport options
- Transport in a vehicle – if required, we can arrange transport in safe, accessible vehicles.
- Public transport training – helping you build the skills and confidence to travel on your own.

How Does It Work?
- Easy referral process (i.e. participants can self-refer or call us to discuss your needs. If participant is happy with the service we provide and would like to sign with us, a service agreement will be prepared and signed by both parties).

FUNDING
NDIS Funding
NDIS participants may access funding for:
Transport Allowance – if you are unable to use public transport due to your disability
Assistance with Travel/Transport Arrangements – under Core Supports: Assistance with Daily Life
We’ll work with you to ensure your transport support funding aligns with your NDIS plan.
